David Beckham has signed a new long-term, exclusive agreement with KONAMI, the creators of the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) videogame series.
The exclusive deal with KONAMI will see Beckham appear as a Legend player in the myClub mode of the soon-to-be-released PES 2018.
The former England captain, who had spells in Manchester, Spain, America, Italy and France during his career, won 19 trophies along the way.
The new deal is the latest partnership for KONAMI, which continues to focus on global markets.
Earlier this month the videogame series signed agreements with the Brazilian, Argentinian and Chilean Leagues for PES 2018, while Liverpool midfielder Coutinho was confirmed as the cover star for the Brazilian edition.
Beckham said of the partnership: “It is a great honour to join the roster of legends that work with KONAMI as PES ambassadors.
“I look forward to seeing my career represented in this fantastic game, and working with such a talented team of people who obviously love football as much as I do.”
