The Tokyo organising committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games has agreed a sponsorship deal with Pasona for the 2020 event.
The human resources company will serve as an official supporter of Tokyo 2020, joining the third domestic tier of the Games’ sponsorship programme.
Persona will provide job placement services, personnel support services relating to hiring, and assessment, placement and worker dispatching services.
The Tokyo-headquartered firm will also manage and deliver services for job fairs and training services for corporate entities excluding online and offline language training services such as testing.
In return, Pasona will be able to use Tokyo 2020’s Olympic and Paralympic designations and imagery, including emblems, mascots and slogans.
The new partnership brings the total number of Tokyo 2020 domestic partners to 47, which include 15 gold partners, 29 official partners and three official supporters.
