Ideation Station’s chief ideator, Goodwill Moyo, has been nominated to sit on the advisory board for the Tshwane University of Technology’s (TUT) Department of Visual Communication.
An award-winning fan engagement agency and 2018 Sport Industry Awards nominee operating in the sports industry in South Africa, Ideation Station combines global technology solutions and platforms for content creation for brands, sponsors and sporting organisations.
“We see this as an awesome opportunity to help educate future talent on what the business world expects,” says Moyo. “We are 100% black owned and are driven to help empower young black talent in the sports marketing industry in this country. Working with TUT affords us the chance to get close to rising stars and help to nurture and advance some phenomenal individuals.”
This Faculty of the Arts board is a meeting of top role-players in the visual arts world that recognises the ubiquitous presence of the visual modern life, from on-line activity to the exploding phenomenon of multimedia, graphic design, interior design and photography. The aim is to advise on student curriculum, industry needs and latest developments, help create job opportunities and internships, amongst other tasks.
“Our brains are hardwired to process images quickly and as content creators we see that branded, visual content is a powerful way to communicate,” says Moyo. “I am honoured to be given the opportunity to share our views and play a part in influencing young, up and coming students.”
